The Lorain County Medical Society Foundation Building is located at 5320 Hoag Drive, Elyria (directly across from Cobblestone Shopping Center).
The building was completed in 1991 and houses four businesses. The Lorain County Medical Society is housed here as well as the offices of Dr. Judith Maher, Dr. Michael Seng and RWL Architects Inc.
In 1990 the Medical Society voted to establish a charitable Foundation in addition to its scholarship foundation. This new entity was initially funded through gifts from local physicians as well as medically related businesses. These funds allowed for the down payment for the structure to be built.
The mortgage was paid off in 2007. Now, the Foundation can continue with its mission which is to make contribution to needy organizations in Lorain County.
